GET THE FACTS BEFORE YOU VOTE!

I’ve learned a lot running in this election… and one of the biggest things is this — even at the local level, it can get ugly.

You might start to see things that look like this flyer, post card or push card going around called the Keller Conservative Guide with misleading impressions. This, in our opinion, attempts to influence votes without giving people the full picture.

And honestly… I’m sorry this is what our community has to deal with.

I do want to be clear about a few things:

First — the candidates listed on the Keller Conservative Guide flyer, post card or push card may not have asked to be on it or even know who created it. That matters. Not everything you see reflects their intent.

Second — this has been handed out at Town Hall and mailed into homes. When something is distributed in these ways, it carries weight and can absolutely give the impression that those listed are the only conservative choices. That’s simply not accurate.

Third —  to be clear — Ned Brown nor Jarrett Armstrong are listed on the Keller Conservative Guide, but we both identify as conservative. And we are not the only ones. There are multiple conservative candidates in these races, and likely most candidates would describe themselves that way.  You have plenty of qualified conservatives to choose from. 

I’ve also seen the statement from the Keller Republican Club. I appreciate them clarifying that it was NOT AN OFFICIAL KRC piece.

But here’s where voters need to pay attention…

People are being told it’s not the organization but they can't stop individuals or groups inside the organization from doing this.  Unfortunately, we have people who can hide behind a PAC and have the opportunity to mislead or influence messaging, distribution, and perception.

That gray area matters.

Because when something looks official… feels official… and shows up at Town Hall or in your mailbox… most people aren’t thinking about technical distinctions. 

They’re taking it at face value.

And that’s exactly how voters can be misled.

I also want to say this — I have the utmost respect for Steve White. After my speech, he came up to me, gave me props, and told me I nailed it. That meant a lot. That kind of respect is what Keller should be about.

This isn’t about attacking people. It’s about protecting the integrity of the process.

> You deserve the truth
> You deserve transparency
> You deserve to make your own informed decision

Not one based on a flyer, post card or push card… or a headline… or someone else’s narrative.

Take the time to:

• Talk to the candidates
• Ask questions
• Look at their actions, not just labels
• Decide what actually matters to you and your family

At the end of the day, this election should not be about confusion or influence behind the scenes.

It should be about Keller.

We can do better. And Keller deserves better.
